The Black Bart Super ProJet is a legendary, high-performance big-game trolling lure designed by Capt. Bart Miller. Positioned as the "big brother" to the highly acclaimed standard ProJet, this lure is supersized to target blue marlin and black marlin, while remaining an incredibly productive choice for giant tuna, large wahoo, and trophy mahi-mahi.
Used Super Pro-Jet in great condition skirted in black over purple.
Design & Hydrodynamics
The hallmark of the Super ProJet is its specialized cupped jet head geometry.
- The Cavitation Mechanism: As water is forced over the hard, slightly concave face, it feeds into precision-machined internal jet ports. This compresses the water and forces it out the back of the head, creating a dense, continuous, and highly visible white "smoke trail" that mimics a panicked flying fish or skipjack.
- All-Weather Stability: Because it is heavy and hydrodynamic, it is famously known as an all-weather weapon. It will track perfectly straight, remaining sub-surface and driving forward even in exceptionally rough, choppy tournament seas without tumbling or flying wildly out of the wake.
