Up for auction is a true collector's gem from Dennis Braid's legendary, discontinued heavy poured-resin big game line. Long before Braid Products transitioned entirely into offshore stand-up harnesses and fighting belts, they manufactured some of the hardest-running marlin lures in the water.

This heavy 12" Cut-Face Plunger is part of his iconic "Bite Me" custom release. It utilizes a distinct slant-cut nose that plows water beautifully, diving down to carve an irresistible, long underwater bubble trail before rising to pop on the surface.

This head features a vibrant, texturized blue scale-pattern holographic foil insert paired with the unmistakable internal "Bite Me" logo tag cast directly inside the resin core. Designed to perfectly mimic blue mackerel or a flying fish, this heavy-tackle weapon is built to run on the short corner or outriggers to attract giant apex predators.

The heavy, hand-poured clear resin head is in exceptional shape, showing excellent luster and clarity over the decades without the severe amber yellowing or cloudiness typical of older custom lures.
