Product Overview:
Up for auction is a premium, highly collectible masterwork from legendary Hawaiian-style California lure builder Fred Zier. This Triple Z (ZZZ) 9.5-inch tournament bullet features one of his most visually striking and labor-intensive core designs.
The Triple Z bullet is an elite straight-runner built specifically to run seamlessly from the long outrigger, stinger, or shotgun positions. It tracks quietly just beneath the surface to create a tight, unbroken "black water ripple" and a dense underwater smoke trail that pelagic predators track from immense distances.
This model showcases Zier's signature hand-cut zigzag foil scale pattern. When trolled between 6 to 12+ knots, the multi-angle foil catches the sunlight to create a highly realistic, flickering baitfish flash that completely mimics a fleeing mackerel or small flying fish.
